Catalytic Fragrance LampsCatalytic Fragrance Lamps or Lampes are a beatiful way to fragrance a room.They are great for A Bacteria/Smoke/Odor Free Living Environment. Frequently Asked Questions: How do the lamps work? The lamps use a special fuel made with alcohol and fragrance (scented oils cannot be used) that are combusted by a ceramic catalytic burner that is included with each lamp. You light the burner only long enough for the flame to heat the burner, then blow out the flame. The heated ceramic slowly consumes the fuel and disperses your favorite fragrance throughout your home. After half an hour or so, your home will be delightfully fragrant! To stop the process, simply place the included snuffer cap over the burner. How much fuel does the lamp use? Lamps use fragrance at a rate of about one ounce per hour. In most cases using your lamp for 30 to 45 minutes will envelop an average size home. How do the lamps purify air? Burning the special fuel through the ceramic catalytic burner releases ozone and anions (negatively charged ions) which purifies the air and remove odors. How long does the ceramic burner last? Depending on usage, your burner can last anywhere from six months to a year, or longer. When yours need replacing, don't worry: replacement burners are not expensive and we always keep a supply in stock. The catalytic Fragrance Lamp or Lampe does NOT use Fragance oil,Incense Oil or Perfume oil for FUEL. This oil will clog the lamp. |
